I'm back from my trip to Texas. It was wonderful; I accomplished so much. Well considering that I haven't really done much scrapping the last couple years, a single layout is accomplishing much! But I did FIVE layouts there... and one of those was six pages long.
This is a picture of a mojito that I had while there. It was just so pretty, I had to take its picture. The green mint and limes and the sliver of sugarcane.... that sounded so sweet and looked so intriguing, but was woody and not much else. The salad was excellent, full of warm shredded chicken, mango, and pumpkin seeds.
But the most fun and the biggest draw for me was hanging out with my friends... you know, those people out there that are just as weird as you. It was truly lovely.... and made me again appreciate my beloved BFF, who understands me probably better than anyone else... even if she doesn't scrapbook.
I'll share some of the things that I did there later. However, I may try submitting some of the layouts for publication. Who knows, someone may like my stuff.
I'll talk to you later. Hugs and Kisses to all my Peeps!
